Things Ms. Hurley Loves About Project Approach....
- It allows for imagination and creativity. Students get to choose what they are most interested in learning about to research.
- It incorporates standards that we are required to teach in a fun and engaging way.
- It is challenging! Students are pushed to think deeper and and in different ways.
- Students have a lot of choice about how they want to learn and present what they have learned to others.
- Cooperative learning opportunities. Students are challenged to listen, compromise and share ideas with others.
- Students take charge of their learning...the teacher provides appropriate resources and guidance and essentially acts as the facilitator of student learning.
- Students are engaged and love the process!
